Aaron Big Man Brien: A member of the Apsaalooke Nation, Big Lodge Clan, and child of the Whistling Water Clan. He earned a master’s degree from University of Montana’s Department of Anthropology, and currently teaches Native American studies and Tribal Historic Preservation at Salish Kootenai College. Since the video was produced Brien became the Apsaalooke Tribal Historic Preservation Officer (THPO) in 2020.
